What these technologies do
A cookie is a small value a website can ask your browser to store and send with later requests. Local storage and session storage are related browser facilities that scripts can use to retain information. They are different from an ordinary downloaded text file or a browser’s cache of images and stylesheets.
What the page code uses
The site’s own HTML and JavaScript do not set cookies or write to localStorage or sessionStorage. Navigation state and scroll-reveal effects are held only in the current page’s memory. There are no analytics, advertising or embedded social-media scripts in the core pages.
The local correspondence tool does not persist your draft in website storage. Clipboard contents and downloaded files are created only when you use the corresponding controls. Your browser or device may retain those independently.
Hosting and additional controls
Hosting or security infrastructure may use technologies outside the page code to deliver or protect the website. If an additional preference interface is displayed, consult its current category and provider information for any technologies it describes. A preference record, where used, is distinct from advertising consent.
Any optional analytics, marketing or third-party embedding added to the site would require an updated notice and, where applicable, prior consent. This notice is not permission to activate optional tracking without the legally required choice.
Your browser controls
Most browsers allow you to inspect, block or delete cookies and other site data through their privacy settings. Search your browser’s help for “site data” or “cookies” for device-specific instructions. Deleting site data may reset preferences provided by a separately displayed control.
Clearing cookies does not necessarily clear clipboard history, downloaded files, saved autofill entries or all cached resources. Those have separate controls. The core articles and navigation do not require you to allow optional cookies.
Other services
Opening an external website or using your email application brings that service’s own policies into play. We do not control its storage practices. For questions about this site, email [email protected] and see the privacy notice for broader information about personal data.
